Vallarta Cares is a legally recognized non-profit organization in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, operating under the official name “Alacena por Amor a Vallarta.” Since our official registration on September 3, 2021, at Notary No. 3, we have remained dedicated to improving the quality of life for our community through impactful programs and initiatives.

In July 2022, we took an important step toward greater transparency and accountability by registering with the federal registry of civil society associations (CLUNI AAV21090914OMG). This recognition underscores our commitment to responsible and ethical operations, ensuring that every donation and resource is used effectively to serve those in need.

Our commitment to integrity and service was further solidified on November 2, 2023, when we were granted Donataria Autorizada status by the Ministry of Finance. This prestigious designation allows us to issue tax-deductible receipts to our donors in Mexico, providing an added incentive for continued support while reinforcing our financial accountability.

To expand our reach and better serve international supporters, we established Vallarta Cares Inc. in the United States in April 2024. This milestone allows us to offer tax-deductible receipts to U.S.-based donors, fostering stronger cross-border collaboration and increasing the resources available to support our mission.

Our dedication to transparency and ethical operations has been recognized by the Eagle Wings Foundation, which awarded us the Recognition for Transparency and Integrity in 2023. This honor reflects our unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest standards in our work and ensuring that every contribution makes a meaningful difference.
